Equalise Counselling
Jessica Sings

I’ve always been fascinated by people. I lead with curiosity; it’s genuine interest in others that drive my work. My desire to help grew from experiences of feeling unseen or misunderstood during my own counseling journey. I know firsthand how important it is to have a space where you can be fully yourself without the need to hide parts of who you are.

Before training as a counselor, I worked as a holistic massage therapist, which gave me a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and the power of human relationship through touch. I’ve also had the privilege of travelling the world, meeting people from diverse cultures, religious backgrounds and different ways of seeing the world. These experiences have enriched my perspective and strengthened my ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
I’ve been through my own journey with trauma, explored my identity, and spent time within alternative lifestyles, experiences that have shaped how I show up as a therapist. While my professional training is important, it’s the real-life experiences that help me connect with people in a way that feels genuine, compassionate, grounded and relatable.
